Kansas City Field Hockey Coaches
Bram Strookman
Owner
As a native of The Netherlands, Bram began playing field hockey at the age of six and continued to do so until moving to the United States in 2016.
As a young athlete, Bram aspired to share his passion for field hockey with others. At the age of fourteen, he began coaching his first team and has continued coaching ever since. Currently, he enjoys coaching the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school field hockey teams at The Pembroke Hill School.
With a bachelor’s degree in physical education from The Hague University in The Netherlands, he hopes to bring his love for sports, specifically field hockey, to the Kansas City area. Bram believes there is great potential for this fantastic sport among the area’s youth and cannot wait to inspire the next generation of field hockey players.
He recently completed Level 3 of the USA Field Hockey coaches course.
